My journey into the world of watches didn’t start in a boardroom; it began with a genuine fascination for the stories told by ticking hands and sweeping seconds.

Before founding Wristby, I spent years at the pinnacle of the industry as a Watch Buyer for Hodinkee and Crown & Caliber. During my tenure there, I handled thousands of timepieces from rare vintage references to modern masterpieces learning exactly what separates a “good” watch from an “exceptional” one.

I decided to take a decade of high-level industry knowledge and channel it into something more personal. I wanted to move away from corporate volume and get back to the soul of the hobby.

Wristby was born out of a desire to bring a “collector-first” mentality back to the market. I don’t just “stock inventory.” I curate pieces that I would be proud to wear myself. Because I’ve sat in the buyer’s seat for the biggest names in the business, I know exactly what to look for in terms of authenticity, mechanical health, and provenance.
